- What did you like most?Excellent location for my needs. Staff were delightful
- Was there anything you didn't like?Whilst the room was clean it was in need of an upgrade. The lavatory seat was cracked and the bath plug was clearly so old and worn I chose therefore to shower instead. The carpets were desperately in need of being replaced. That said the bed was comfortable and bedding spotless as were towels. I had all I needed in there however including a fridge , ironing board, hairdryer. Apart from the room being somewhat aged it was otherwise perfect

- What did you like most?The location was exactly what I wanted (I was booked on a weekend course at a local school), the rooms were quiet, clean and pleasant, with an individual slightly quirky décor which I really liked. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful, and seemed totally willing to help with things like looking after my bag after I’d checked out the morning after my stay so I didn’t have to trail it round with me all day. Breakfast was delicious and pleasantly served. If I say the hotel was agreeably ‘old-fashioned’ it’s a real compliment- I mean it seemed much more individual and characterful than a chain hotel, while having modern conveniences like free wi-fi and being clean and well-maintained.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The bathroom could have done with a shower cubicle rather than a bath (the shower fitting over the bath was a little temperamental and wouldn’t stay put, and the bath would be hard for an elderly person to get in and out of). Otherwise no problem.
