This hotel is located a 3-minute walk from Montparnasse Metro and SNCF station, and a 10-minute walk from the Jardin du Luxembourg. - What did you like most?Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Nice to have a refrigerator in room. Location was great except for the subway noise.
- Was there anything you didn't like?We stayed for 8 nights. Room was extremely small with very little storage space. One person had to move out of the way to let the other person get from one side of the bed to the other. I realize most Paris hotel rooms are small, but the lack of storage space made this room very difficult to live in. Shower pressure was very weak. Shower water never got really hot. Toilet often didn't flush all the way. Plug in bathroom wouldn't hold the hair dryer plug - had to hold it in with one hand and hold the hair dryer with the other so there was no way to use a brush to style hair. Housekeeping was very minimal - clean towels (most days), empty waste basket and tuck in comforter - that was it. No cleaning the shower, sink, toilet, floor, no vacuuming. One day we didn't get clean towels so I called the front desk and they brought up 4 hand towels. When I called again and asked for 2 bath towels, they said they wouldn't be available until 8AM. Since the hotel is near the Metro, you hear the rumbling of trains constantly. The hotel provides earplugs.
