Set in the lively Bastille district, this contemporary hotel is located opposite the Opera House. It has a 24-hour reception and free Wi-Fi is provided in the stylish guest rooms. Each air-conditioned guest room features a flat-screen TV, a mini-bar and facilities for making hot drinks. All of the rooms are nonsmoking and the private bathrooms include a hairdryer. A buffet breakfast is served in the dining room every morning at hotel Paris Bastille. You can enjoy drink in the hotel bar while reading the newspapers provided. Bastille Metro Station is just 656 feet away, providing direct access to the Louver Museum and the Arc de Triomphe. The Botanic Gardens are just 0.6 mi from the hotel. In all rooms, all TV are equipped with chrome cast so guests can use their personal streaming platform on the TV

The hotel is lovely, but...

- Was there anything you didn't like?We opted for the ecological option during our stay. While we appreciate the intention behind this, in practice it seemed to mean simply that the room was not serviced, rather than necessarily being more environmentally friendly. Of course, one could debate this, as keeping rooms clean with natural products can also be environmentally responsible. In reality, it appeared to mean there was no regular cleaning. Unfortunately, this created some inconvenience during our stay. We often had to search for a cleaner to request basic items such as toilet rolls, and each evening we needed to go to reception to ask for milk and teabags, as only two teabag and two milk portions were provided for a five-night stay, which felt rather minimal. We chose to book a hotel because we wanted to support the hospitality sector and expected the usual level of service associated with it. However, the experience sometimes felt closer to a self-catering or Airbnb-style stay. Our first interaction at reception , on arrival was also a little surprising, as when we asked for assistance we were questioned about why we needed help since we had been given a map. That said, I would like to add that the reception staff working the night shifts were noticeably friendlier and welcoming, which we appreciated. We hope this feedback is helpful and constructive, as with a few adjustments the guest experience could be greatly improved.
