This Downtown and centrally located Erie Motel is located 5 miles from Presque Isle State Park, 6 miles from Erie International Airport, 1 mile from the Waterfront Bayfront district, and within walking distance to many local museums, art galleries, shops, restaurants, bars, and attractions, as well as the Amtrak Train Station and several bus stops. Exterior guest room entrances provide easy room access for those with pets and families. Overnight security is in place, as well as a fully secured guest stairwell and elevator access. Cable TV and high-speed internet is included in every guest room. Ironing facilities, coffee makers, and hair dryers are included in multiple upgraded room types such as King rooms and kitchenette suites. Newly installed, environmentally conscious bulk amenity dispensers are installed in all guest bathrooms for our guest's convenience. - What did you like most?It was near a gas station.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Key didn't work initially to get into the elevator room, and I had to go back to the front desk to get new keys. The room was gross. There was hair everywhere. It was long dark hair, so I'm not sure if it was a cleaning person or previous bookers. Checking the bed sheets, you could tell they were washed, but they had stains on them that looked like blood. It is very noticeable and should not have been put on the bed. Pillows had yellow stains on them. Mattress was super hard and old. When I moved, the bed frame squeaked all night. The shower had broken silicone all around it, and it was black. No hot water. We'll, to be fair, there was a little bit. My shower was not freezing, but on full hot, it was cold. Very quick shower and shitty experience. It was a work trip, so at checkout in the morning, I asked for a receipt and couldn't get one. They don't print them. I will never stay red roof inn again.
