A Very Easy and Pleasant Hotel in the Heart of Sydney
- What did you like most?Location was great! The hotel definitely had a unique “boutiquey” feel & look that was very pleasant! The staff were very helpful and in particular Katherine at the reception desk who after discovering we had been traveling for over 24 hours, found us a room and checked us in early! We didn’t expect it but greatly appreciated it!!
- Was there anything you didn't like? The menu selection at the restaurant was a little light on options but what they did have on the menu was delicious!
Overall ok for a quick stay but not the place to go if you want to enjoy the facilities
- What did you like most?Staff were very friendly and helped us to check in early, Water and light snacks was free.
- Was there anything you didn't like? The room itself was clean and visually pleasant; however, the shower tiles had a noticeable build-up of grime, which made the bathroom feel less comfortable. Coffee machine was loud and not even hot at all just lukewarm, which was dissapointing. It was raining heavily and I had to walk to get a coffee in the morning. There was no toothbrush provided in the room. One was available after asking at reception, but it would have been better if this had been included from the start. The bed was quite firm and the pillows were uncomfortable, which affected sleep quality. Breakfast was a standard Western offering. While there were some acceptable options, it wasn’t particularly healthy or good value for the price. After spending three weeks in Thailand and staying at several more affordable hotels that included thoughtful extras and higher overall standards, this property felt overpriced for what was offered. There is definite room for improvement.
