Lots of long pools, great for swimmers.
      • What did you like most?
The rooms were great and the pools were very long. The beach however is extraordinarily eroded, and also because Cozumel island and the channel between Playa del Carment and Cozumel, the water is less beautiful than in other locations. Only few restaurants were open. There is on on-site waterpark, so that is a big plus.
      • Was there anything you didn't like?
I really disliked the way rooms are remodeled. It is a brand new remodel, so a lost opportunity there. They made these glass partitions with tiny toilet areas that you can't even open the door properly. They bathroom areas are too big and intrude into the living space. Particularly annoyingly, neither the room nor the entire resort seems to have basic tables with chairs. In case you want to get any work done on a computer, answer an email, etc., there is no place to sit correctly. This is the main reason I would not return here.

When you arrive, the property is large. You walk into a lobby that’s extremely clean and honestly pretty grand. Big staircases, Christmas trees, the whole setup. It gives a strong first impression. If you’re in the platinum section, they do send you over to the other side of the resort, which feels a bit separate. The pool itself is really big and overall pretty clean. That said, there are a few things that are concerning. The biggest one is the food. It gets old after a day and it’s inconsistent. Room service isn’t great either. There were items I wanted that just weren’t available. You definitely want to pick your restaurants ahead of time because some of them fill up fast, and you need to know which ones are actually included in the all-inclusive package. The beach is pretty small. Some of the daybeds were dirty, which wasn’t great. Honestly, the strongest part of the hotel is the lobby. The lobbies look fantastic and give you that wow factor when you walk in, but after that, it kind of goes downhill. The bar situation isn’t the best. The bartenders are just okay, which makes sense. To get top-tier bartenders, the hotel would have to charge more, and this isn’t that kind of place. That said, you actually get more than what you pay for, which is a huge plus. Finding a resort under $400 a night where you genuinely feel like you’re getting more than you paid for is rare. The price is affordable, and for the cost, it’s not bad at all.
