Beautiful Restored Property
- What did you like most?This was my second stay at The George Manor. The staff is like family, facility is remarkably clean and breakfast was yummy. Plus it’s very close to the cruise terminal.
- Was there anything you didn't like?My confirmation with Booking.com stated that I had free cancellation until seven days before check in and at that point my credit card would be charged. Instead my card was charged Two Months before that time. So be aware of this. First time I stayed there were nice slippers, this time they were paper. Very disappointed as the floors are hardwood.
I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Galveston!
- What did you like most?The breakfast was excellent! The dining room was beautifully decorated and the conversation with others was fun! The George Manor is located so close to the port so everyone at breakfast was also going on a cruise – but not necessarily the same cruise line. It made for an interesting morning conversation!
